Collection M.01

It took eight years of development, countless prototypes, and a manufacturing process unlike any other in the world. Then, finally, we held the result in our hands: a Swiss-made wristwatch with a genuine vinyl dial. The M.01 is our first collection — Swiss Made, handcrafted, and produced in limited numbers. It embodies everything Vinyler stands for: nothing more, nothing less.

Minute hand

The minute hand is no ordinary hand. We have deliberately designed it in the shape of a turntable tonearm. The small element at the tip is the grip point – exactly where you hold the tonearm and gently place it on the record.

Crown

The crown and the engraved scale from 0.5 to 3.5 are an interpretation of the adjustment mechanism for the stylus tracking force on a turntable.

Bezel

Bezel with a polished dot pattern, inspired by the distinctive platter design of classic DJ turntables.

Movement / Rotor

Powering every Vinyler watch is the Soprod Newton P092, a 100% Swiss-made automatic movement from the Swiss Jura with a 44-hour power reserve. We have designed the rotor, featuring the Vinyler logo in label style, to resemble a vinyl record.

Branding

Subtle yet distinctive. A Swiss-made watch, handcrafted and limited in number. No two are ever the same, because no two vinyl records are ever the same. A celebration of music, individuality, and craftsmanship. Vinyler.

Specifications

We have selected every material with the same attention to detail as the dial itself. At the heart of the watch is the Soprod Newton P092 automatic movement, manufactured in the Swiss Jura region – Swiss Made.

The 316L stainless steel case with a black PVD coating, the sapphire crystal, the crown – we have left no detail to chance. We do not compromise on what you cannot see. And certainly not on what you can.

The origins and the people behind Vinyler, the development, the manufacturing, the final assembly and the quality control – all carried out in Switzerland, all in accordance with the strictly regulated ‘Swiss Made’ standards. Every Vinyler watch comes with a certificate of authenticity. Because every dial originates from a different vinyl record, every watch is truly unique. The certificate confirms it.

    Handcrafted from a genuine, decommissioned vinyl record. We give the record a new lease of life – a dial that will never be replicated.

  • Movement

    Soprod Newton P092 automatic movement with a power reserve of 44 hours. 100% Swiss-made.

  • Case

    46 mm, 316L stainless steel with black PVD coating, water-resistant to 10 ATM. Robust, timeless, full of character.

  • Strap

    24 mm, 316L stainless steel with black PVD coating, fitted with an integrated quick-release clasp system for tool-free strap changes.

  • Sapphire crystal

    Sapphire crystal on the front and case back, with 5-layer anti-reflective coating. Scratch-resistant, clear and durable.

Two editions

But a record has two sides, and both have their own character: the label in the centre embodies the visual identity of an era – colours, typography and lettering that instantly evoke a certain feeling. The recorded side, with its grooves, tells the story of the music that once lived on it. Both sides deserve to be seen. So we’ve created two editions: the Label Edition and the Groove Edition.

Label Edition

Colours, typography, fragments of an era – the iconic centrepiece of a record, now on your wrist.

Unique packaging

High-quality and as unique as your watch. The packaging for the ‘Label Edition’ watches incorporates a section of the original record sleeve from which your dial was created. The packaging for the ‘Groove Edition’ features a unique vinyl design element.
